|Conceived in the year 2006-2007 INFO-BAZAAR is a ‘Computer Awareness Event’ organized by the Computer department of Cathedral Senior Secondary School. This idea plumed flight under the support of
Father Paul Rodrigues, and was proficiently succeeded in the Year 2008-2009 under
Father Ronald D’ Souza.
In the year 2006-2007 it commenced on a small scale with a participation of 5 schools with about 70 students. A gigantic expansion was experienced with every layered year, qualitatively as well as quantitatively. In the year 2008-2009 it grabbed participation of 18 best schools of the city with over 350 participants. Our Sponsor having been,

The prime objective of the venture was computer awareness and succor to budding talent. Different age groups were catered with challenges meeting their aptitude. Year 2008-2009 included participation of students from 3rd Standard, in games like
crosswords, puzzles and riddles. Seminars bringing mass speech eloquence,
C++ programming bringing in the logical best in academic excellence,
PowerPoint Presentation whetting graphical and animated creativity,
Ad Mad Word honing Presentation and Dramatic ability, Quiz to feed the ‘hunger to know more’ are some events with diversified character to bring out a student’s preeminent.
The Diamond Jubilee year (2010) of the school saw the event grow big in stature with 32 schools and as many as 700 participants participating in 14 different events.
In common discourse, ‘computer literate' often connotes little more than the ability to use several very specific applications. Real problems can arise when such a ‘computer literate' person encounters a new program for the first time. The necessity of teaching computer literacy is paramount in education. Teachers are preparing today's students for occupations and problems that do not yet exist in the world. An array of industries depend on employees who are computer literate as those industries depend on technology more and more each day. And
